                       Knaier Drum School Tuition and Attendance Policy

Tuition Policy:

Knaier Drum School charges a flat monthly rate of $200 for private one-on-one lessons (lasting 1 hour each lesson). This breaks down to $50 per lesson, with each student receiving a total of 48 lessons per year. In months where students attend only 3 lessons, the 4th lesson will be made up during the 5-week months.

Tuition is due at the start of the student's first lesson, covering one month in advance. This date will be the recurring due date for tuition each month. The preferred method of payment is through Venmo.

Please note that tuition does not include additional costs such as books, instrument rentals, or other supplies.

Attendance Policy:

No refunds will be issued for missed private lessons. If a parent cancels a lesson with at least 24 hours' notice, they may reschedule the lesson based on the teacher's availability. 

Students who miss two or more private lessons without prior notice may risk losing their time slot. If a student wishes to discontinue lessons, they must notify Knaier Drum School by email at least 15 days before the next scheduled program start date (the date the student originally began lessons). Be on time Being late shortens the ONE HOUR lesson. Punctuality is important 

Sick Day

If your student exhibits symptoms of illness within 24 hours of a lesson, the student should not attend lessons until they are symptom free for 24 hours. A makeup class will be provided on a day that is agreeable with the teacher
